The Mission Field in our own backyard
Parkway is located near Texas A&M University which brings in students, faculty, staff and business people and their families from all over Texas, the U.S. and the World.
Parkway members of all ages are encouraged to make friendships, serve, pray for and be ready to share the good news of the gospel with their neighbors, coworkers, classmates and other members of the community.
Training is provided on how to share the gospel in a relationship. For information on this training contact Ryan Nelson at ryan@pbccs.org.

Local, Regional, National, & International Short Term Missions Opportunities
Frequently opportunities for short term missions will be available to Parkway members through Parkway or other organizations.
Some recent missions parkway members have been involved in have been rebuilding efforts for disaster victims and their communities, international building opportunities for orphanages, helping local, state, national, and international missionaries in their efforts, providing food and lodging for disaster victims, teaching Vacation Bible School to orphans or disaster victims, sending supplies to disaster victims or missionaries.

It is every members responsibility to give the tithe (10%) to the local church. After that, as God provides, offerings can be made.
Parkway is a member of the Cooperative Program for missions offerings. The Cooperative Program collects three offerings per year: The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, and The Mary Hill Davis Offering for State of Texas Missions. Parkway collects some smaller offerings for organizations outside of the cooperative program such as Operation Christmas Child, AWANA adopt a club, New Day Orphanage in Zambia, and Shelter for the Homeless International Projects. The offerings outside of the cooerative program are usually collected in children's coin offerings.

Parkway members are encouraged to become specific prayer warriors for specific missionaries. Keeping up with their prayer needs and interceding for them.
