Book Recommendation:

Parenting With Kingdom Purpose

by Richard Ross & Ken Hemphill

Parents, this is an excellent book that I have read.  I

recommend every parent should read it!  Richard Ross was one

of my professor while I was in Seminary.  He loves youth

and he loves parents!  The book is designed to help parents to

make Christian Faith a reality for their children. 

Christian parents are called to celebrate and nurture the unique

personality traits and talents of each child with gracious and

eternal perspective.  Yet studies indicate 70% of teenagers

from evangelical homes will drop out of church with two years

after high school graduation.  What the world has to offer will

win their closer attention.

Parenting with Kingdom Purpose looks at Bible teaching and the

recent National Study of Youth and Religion to shape a fresh

approach to raising children that will cut through the chaos of

moder life and bring families closer to each other

and the LORD.
